New ‘every hotels’ brand launches in London

Hotel operator glh has announced the opening of the first of its new ‘every hotels’ brand in London. The ‘every hotel Piccadilly’ is the location of what will be the first of a planned roll-out of the ‘every hotels’ concept. Three more every hotels are expected to open in London over the next 18 months.

The London-based hotel management company operates over 4,000 hotel rooms in the capital. In 2013 it was reported to have some thirty-six hotels with a total of over 8,000 rooms across the United Kingdom. glh manages the Thistle hotel brand, the Guoman collection of Hotels, Clermont Hotels & Residences as well as Amba Hotels. The Thistle brand operates 31 hotels throughout the United Kingdom. Guoman has five hotels under its collective branding including the five-star Royal Horseguards Hotel, The Grosvenor Hotel, The Tower Hotel, The Cumberland Hotel and the Charing Cross Hotel, all located in London.

The ‘every hotels’ concept came about as the result of a two year research programme including customer feedback and insight. The focus at every hotels is on giving guests what they really want and not things and facilities they never use, aiming to meet the needs of both quality conscious business and leisure travellers. The every hotels proposition is designed to tackle a specific need for hotel owners in the four star sector.

Features include well equipped, modern bedrooms including a Hypnos bed, rainfall shower, Smart TV and extra touches like Nespresso coffee machines and complimentary soft-drink mini-bar. Guests can use a ‘Choose Your Own Room’ booking service, that allows them to choose their room prior to arrival and online check-in and check-out is also available. A great central location with knowledgeable staff will ensure guests can get maximum benefit from their stay in London.

The launch of every hotel Piccadilly will soon be followed by Bloomsbury, Hyde Park and Leicester Square over the next 18 months. There are plans for a further 50 every hotels by the end of the decade.
